OK, thanks. Can we update the title here to reflect the problem? Is it that tensors aren't recognized if TensorFlow is imported using a wildcard?

How do you know that is what is expected?

This is the result of the analysis of the working case. By working case, I mean the same code as the example above, just with an import that is recognized.

I would think that this problem is not specific to TF.
