Hey Tom, I am not sure what is the problem to be honest. Can I see your RN code on the Countdown timer?
By the way, I started working on this as well. I did some initial tests and it seems it will be possible to converted this library to work on RN.
There is one issue tho with getting getTotleLength method on SVG path for IOS. I did open an issue here - software-mansion/react-native-svg#1336 but I found a workaround about it for now.
I hope to have this component RN ready by the end of next week.
