The endpoint and protocol configured in the proprties are correct?

Hmm, right now I don't have access to a hybris installation to test it (I'm working on a plain java/spring project right now). Can you record the network requests that are made by the browser when you log into the hac manually?
This would help me to identify the probable cause

Same problem here with Hybris version 6.7
I would assume the problem could be caused by SSL verification errors because the local server uses this outdated self signed security certificate.

Hey guys, can you try the lastest version? Make sure that you use the correct url.
By default the HAC is expected under /hac which took me an hour to figure out :-D
Btw, I just tried a fresh hybris 6.7 installation and it worked.

Running Hybris 6.5. My dev server doesn't force https and works with this extension. All of the other servers require https and throw the 403 error. What if you made strictSSL a setting instead of hard coding "false"?

I made it configurable, but it's not yet deployed. First I have to setup a local hybris installation to test it (I'm currently not working with hybris)
Can anyone of you try it out locally with the current master?
