can you try upgrading to AwesomeTTS 1.88.4 and see whether it works ?

The API request is working now and the file is being read.
But there are 2 scenarios
- it crashes Anki, video below

- Anki doesn't crash but becomes unusable due to 2 error messages appearing. After dismissing the first one, the second one is not visible and it seems to block the UI. Gonna send vid to your email because I leaked my key in it

Only Forvo, others work fine.
I have made a PR, which I think would be worth trying.
But I haven't compiled it and tested it as a build of the addon
