How it works on different machines? It's hard to say without having the access to the hardware, but it might be some platform-specific issue with GC. Is memory spike occurs even before adding/removing entities?

I think I've found the exact circumstances when the memory usage starts growing. It's necessary to switch to a different virtual desktop where I've got a browser (probably any X app) running.

So it's probably something about the X server not repainting the screen. Could it impact the GC in any way?

Can't reproduce on Arch x86_64, and I hardly know enough about inner workings of Nim's GC or X server to tell you the answer.

OK, the described scenario has never happened to me before (I've just tried a C++ SDL2+OpenGL game to make sure) so it's probably not about a buggy driver or X server.

I'll close for now and try searching for some nim debugging suggestions :)
