• The training process is not implemented (see checklist in the readme)
• The environment you get is correct since you read a specification from the file, and it defines the walls only. In the case you want the blocks to be instantiated, then it should be done at runtime (e.g., using ET) as it was already implemented. The problem you actually facing is that the malmo's namespace specs moved to another place: http://projectmalmo.microsoft.com/ is down right now. You can track the issue here.

I was doing this project by myself (not connected with authors in any way) in free time. Currently, it is frozen, and I do not think that it will get further than this.

As for the issue, I am not really sure that the namespace is the only/real problem since Malmo had at least one update after this repository had been created. I would suggest to go on with your own implementation.

Thank you so much, is this something you are doing in your free time for fun or are working with the authors of the paper out of interest? Do you have a set schedule as to when you intend to complete the other components or is it just when you have time available?

OK so for the last issue, the site still seems to be down, is there a fix until this comes back up or are we at the mercy of Malmo responding?
