It changes only when you hit a 'take from map' button and then click 'Save'. I have just checked this out and it works fine.

Then, I don't understand why the zoom level behaves differently from the latitude and longitude fields.
I can set the coordinates by typing in the fields and hitting "save" (i.e., I don't use "Take from Map"). I cannot do this to the zoom level.
