Yes. I have replaced it with popup. I have thought some reasonable amount of time and decided to remove it at all. From my point of view it's useless and consume much space in devices table view. Also if I am correct it was not updating when device position changes, which makes it much more useless.
So, I am not planning to put it back. If you want you may do it yourself.
