Added. I must say this increasingly popular trend of new unconventional filenames for conventional ruby files is aggravating me more and more.

+1 I'm not really a huge fan of us supporting everyone's pet Ruby project with a funky filename extension.

I agree this is aggravating, and developers should stick to conventional file names. I also believe that vim-ruby should support standard tools. However, caveat lector, I believe that thor has potential to be a standard tool like capistrano, bundler, and rake. Support for the latter three was already included so I thought maybe thor could get in on the action. I could be naive, however.
