You have to access 'ethics' by its proper API. On its own, in a vacuum, it's empty. Depending on how and where you instance is constructed, ethics can contain wildly different datasets.

Too hard to implement

veggiedefender avatar veggiedefender commented on May 24, 2024

This isn't possible given the current toolchain. Sorry, the technology simply isn't there yet.

Yes, the best way to do so will be to rebuild from scratch, but that's not possible given the size of the codebase

OK, so I just tried to access the person.ethics variable, but it returned null. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

from bluehentreats.

veggiedefender avatar veggiedefender commented on May 24, 2024

Uh you might be trying to access it outside of its scope. Was it passed into you at the time you were initialized?

from bluehentreats.

h313 avatar h313 commented on May 24, 2024

Huh, I couldn't find the API in the documentation. Which idiot decided that it was a good idea to implement this without writing anything about it? Or maybe it simply doesn't exist?
