Have you looked at the example? There I also don't call anything when calling dismiss() and there it does work.
Also I don't do anything in particular with the keyboard and it just works.
Maybe something on your side is wrong?

I'm closing this issue due to inactivity. If you have any further input on the issue, don't hesitate to reopen this issue or post a new one.
Also you can try the latest 0.4.0-SNAPSHOT version which does fix some toggling issues.
