Lack of documentation for unite cms 0.10 about unite-cms HOT 1 OPEN

unite cms is not the only project where documentation is not a priority for developers. I really do not understand why it's so hard to create detailed documentation (with clear examples) for projects so people can actually use it to full potential. Is it the constant rapid changes to code that makes the documentation outdated really fast? Is it that they do not want anyone else to use the project? I mean they don't need documentation for using the project themselves so why even do it? I will keep searching for alternative to unite cms because without proper documentation it's really hard to use this great project unfortunately...
