How to build apr-1.3.3, apr-util-1.3.4, apr-iconv-1.2.1 using VS2005.

1. Download and unpack the packages to the same directory using the following
directory layout
apr
apr-util
apr-iconv

2. Open apr-util.dsw workspace using VS2005 IDE.
Simply follow up and convert all the projects to VS2005 project format.

3. Remove database related projects from the solution
apr_dbd_freetds
apr_dbd_mysql
dbd\apr_dbd_odbc
dbd\apr_dbd_oracle
dbd\apr_dbd_pgsql
dbd\apr_dbd_sqlite2
dbd\apr_dbd_sqlite3

4. Build the solution
This does work to me.

Don't know how to mark it as "verified". I inspected all the links on the "Issues"
page and the issue itself but couldn't find any way to change the status. Sorry,
buddy, could you please, give me a hint?

I should admit, it's not so intuitive, but simple enough.

1. Open the issue.
2. Click on the link "Add a comment and make changes below".
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and navigate to "Status: Fixed" edit box.

(it'll be nice to see combo box instead)
4. Clear the content, you should see drop down window with all the possibilities to

choose by that time.
5. Select whatever status you need and "Submit Changes"

Sorry Arsen but the page I get in the browser doesn't allow me to do so. Firstly,
the name of the link you mentioned is just "Add a comment below". If I click on it,

the view scrolls to the "Add a Comment" box and a cursor appears inside the box
where I can type the text (which is what I am doing right now :-)). "Status: Fixed"

is just an unmodifiable piece of text (black fonts on a light blue background bar,

about 1cm tall) located below your first comment (made at the time when you also
changed the status to "Fixed"). So, what I see there is pretty darned "Fixed" :-).

If you can see an "edit box", I suspect that it may be a matter of permission
rights, which doesn't allow me to modify that field. I agree that the reporter
should be allowed to change the status of a bug and we do this in Bugzilla which is

an open source bug tracking system. But it looks like Google has different ideas
(maybe).

Best regards.

Vlad,
I've just re-read the FAQ below
http://code.google.com/p/support/wiki/FAQ#Issue_Tracking

and it seems only project owners and members can edit project metadata. I believe
status of an issue is also supposed to be a metadata.
Thus, there are two options

Option 1.
Reporter logs an issue.
Issue owner fixes it.
Reporter adds comments confirming the fix.
Issue owner changes the status to verified.

Option 2.
I can grant project membership to advanced users like you. I guess, this would allow
to collaborate more effectively. At least issue reporter will be able to change issue
status, assuming reporter is a member.

Let me know what would be your preference.
