Trying to decide which `li3_twig` to use... about li3_twig HOT 12 CLOSED

Officially not really ... I wouldn't really know how to become the official maintainer ;) but I do maintain my repo quite often as I use it on a production website.
i know of only 2 libraries for twig and I developped mine because @nervetattoo's didnt meet my expectations of a twig implementation.
nervetattoo's library works in a different way. I use twig extensively (layout extensions, test extensions, lithium helpers are still available whereas nervetattoo's will still need a "main" layout as per lithium's base adapters.
I'm usually available on IRC too so if you need help with my library i'll be glad to help there or over here :)

I recommend you to use this repo as I think this works in a more correct way.
I haven't had time to maintain my version really, and we have some apps using it in the incorrect way so I can't upgrade it.
Ideally I think the repo should be donated / moved to @UnionOfRAD and make it more official as twig is the most popular and best template engine for PHP:

@nervetattoo, thanks for the clarification and validation of @marcghorayeb's work. Who should we talk to at @UnionOfRAD to make that happen? Maybe @nateabele can make a suggestion...

Sure, it's totally up to @marcghorayeb. Marc, if you want to migrate the repository over to the @UnionOfRAD organization and manage it there, you're totally welcome. Just let me know and we'll make it happen.

Okay, we have two options: you can transfer the repo to @UnionOfRAD in the admin (in which case everyone has to update their clone URLs), or, I can fork it from @UnionOfRAD and add you as a maintainer, and you can direct people there in the readme or something.

@marcghorayeb I've added you and @nervetattoo to a team in @UnionOfRAD. You should be able to go into the admin for the repo and transfer it to the @UnionOfRAD organization. Once this is done, we should probably send out a tweet letting li3_twig users know to update their clone URLs.
