Hide button does not delete data, it remove stack item from the stack window. Stack items are saved in grass db as raster, but are not displayed in available datasets, unless "show internal data" is checked. If the original raster is deleted, stack item can remain in available stack. To remove stack, you have to check "show internal data" in available datasets, filter stack items, select and delete them.
A "delete all stack items" could solve this issue ?

Yes please add such a button with the label "Delete all the items in the stack" on it to match the other buttons. Thanks
