可以自己编译。
我试了一下，体积确实更小了，不过编码速度也老慢了。
等以后人手64核，AVS3就要崛起了。
是能自己编译. 但我是替普通用户说的, AVS2颁布好几年了, 但至今仍无到手能用的影音播放器, 极大影响AVS2普及,加之MPC-HomeCinema之类开发者根本不愿增加AVS2. 所以我修补了VLC和MPC-HomeCinema(LAVFilters),也参照北大例子改动了ffmpeg, 都已经可正常播放AVS2编码的MKV和TS文件, ffmpeg-avs2-avs3和VLC-AVS2运行文件已放到Gitee, MPC-HomeCinema正准备上传. 其实刚始没准备自己动手, 只想找个到手能用的压缩和播放器, 结果大失所望. AVS2对普通用户推广和参与太乏力, AVS3好像也不乐观.
