One of my servers is on Fedora 36 and it runs make test just fine, so it must be some kind of missing dependency. I'll double-check later, but meanwhile, what's the output of dnf list zlib-devel on your setup?

Thanks for the quick response.
I try to read the code it was saying using uncompress function from zlib.

- For a Fedora 36 with unknown dependency already installed, I had to install following two more for "make test" to pass.
sudo dnf install -y zlib-devel tcl-devel
from libsql.
