INSTALLATION ERROR about googlesitemapgenerator HOT 17 OPEN

have the same problem 
1. INSTALLER NEEDS IIS 5.0 OR HIGHER
2. I AM INSTALLING ON WINDOWS XP

Well, do you have IIS 5.0 or higher installed and running?

I am having the same problem myself!

Would be nice with apache support for windows

Currently sitemap generator could not support windows XP very well, and need 
IIS 6.0
(the alert information has a wrong version number, should be 6.0 instead of 
5.0).

I've added IIS 6.0 and I am still getting the same error report.  Any know bugs 
on
this, or info on how to fix it?

OK, the IIS download page is really confusing. Can someone tell me exactly what

need to download and install?

I just installed IIS6.0 still the same problem. Should I install 7 or higher?

I have tried everything IIS6 and IIS7.  Nothing is working. I'm on Windows XP 
and it 
is giving me the same "INSTALLER NEEDS IIS 5.0 OR HIGHER". I can't believe 
Google 
can't fix it for so long. Can someone give us some advise on this please.

I turned off user account control in my control panel and the program installed.
