I had the same need on my projects. Especially with lidar data and point classification. Would be perfect to import additional rows of data into blender. Would be perfect to import it as for instance Float or Vector. I'd be happy to help with this if @TombstoneTumbleweedArt will agree.
@TombstoneTumbleweedArt Have you considered merging it into main blender plugins repository?

Hi!I worked out a small edit to the GitHub code that let me do this actually! I’ll be the first to admit that I am no expert with Python or even coding in general but if needed, I can share what I found? With my method, you have to manually edit the code depending on how many extra variables you have but I think it wouldn’t be hard to write something that takes any number of extra variables?
