actually you don't even need to shrink the container, if you shrink the dots alone you will see the artifiacts

@scamden The default size (6px) is the minimum recommended size. Border-radius stops to look even decent at smaller sizes. I'll investigate if we can fix this by making the elements vector circles instead of squares with border radius.
