Shouldn't be too hard:

  • In helm-bibtex-init, insert all bibtex files in temp buffer.
  • Change helm-bibtex-show-entry to figure out in which of the BibTeX files an entry is located. If the number of BibTeX files is small, this should be fast enough. If you have every entry in a file of its own, we'd need another solution (storing the source file with the entry).

Do you want to give it a shot? I have all my stuff in one big file, so it's not a priority for me and I can't test it without setting up a test environment.

Tried to add an initial support and already worked on my part (3 bibtex files).

Up to you to decide whether to accept. See #11

Now there's a "Create new entry" action for each BibTeX file: 16cb285

from helm-bibtex.
