playback of .wav file sounds distorted over phone about sipcmd HOT 12 OPEN

I was experiencing a similar issue. I'd be interested to know if anyone has
a solution too.

Hi,
this is easy to solve, resample your wav-file to 8000Hz. This is the default Sample rate with phones.
i also trapped into this the first time ;-)

@whopperg: as i stated in the initial report, the wave was synthesized at 8kHz

Hm - sorry i've overlook this... But could you try to use a 44.1kHz and resample it? just to test it? I used Audacity for this - works fine.

Codec: PCM S16 LE
Channels: Mono
Bits per Sample: 16

I stuck at the same thing.
I tried with Audacity and ffmpeg -i - -y -acodec pcm_s16le "%f.wav"
but it sounds terrible.

Okay, das ist, was ich erwartet habe. Klingt genauso zerhackt. Entweder liegt es am Raspberry oder die Kompilierung der aktuellen Version hat ein Problem. Kannst du mir deine sipcmd version sagen oder mal dein sipcmd Binary anbaumeln?
Vielleicht hilft mir das auf die Spur.

Das sind meine Komponenten:

Aufruf: 620 ist der SIP-User und ****_611 das DECT an der FritzBox.
./sipcmd -P sip -u 620 -c kennw0rt -a Türklingel -w fritz.box x 'c**_*611;ws100;vhaustuer;h'

Raspberry 3 mit Debian (jessie)

Nachtrag. Ich habe gerade mal mein GSM angerufen. Da geht es! Scheint ein Codec Problem der an der Fritz!Box angemeldeten DECTs zu sein. Interessant...

Über Amt geht es auch am DECT.

Also klappt es nur intern nicht? Dann hab ich auch keine Idee dazu... nutze es nur für externe Anrufe.

Ich schon... Liegt am HD Flag in der Fritz!Box.
=> Problem solved.
Fritz!Box 7490 => Disable HD
