Consistent movement speed about cobalt-calibur-3 HOT 1 CLOSED

A fix was implemented for movement speed, however it feels incorrect. There is a global timer which checks input every 150ms. So, you could have to hold a movement key for up to 149ms before moving, which feels buggy.

Instead, as soon as a key is pressed the character should move, and that 150ms timer starts from there.

I'd also like to see the screen slowly shift from the old tiles to the new tiles during movement, e.g. like Pokemon for the gameboy. This would give players a visual indication that they are moving, and they wouldn't expect to be able to keep moving during the animation.
