This is a CORS issue with your app. Follow: https://fastapi.tiangolo.com/tutorial/cors/
Setting up your app for cors, e.g.:
from jupyterlab_iframe.
Just to be clear, my api is running inside my jupyterlab not outside.
In your case, I believe you run it outside, on your host machine.
from jupyterlab_iframe.
I advanced a bit in my debugging.
I successfully got my swagger by adding a root path uvicorn source.api.main:app --reload --root-path "/jupyter/user/admin/iframes/proxy?path=http://127.0.0.1:8000/"
But now, if I try a route user
, it calls:
curl -X 'GET' \
'http://localhost:8002/jupyter/user/admin/iframes/proxy/user' \
-H 'accept: application/json'
(http://localhost:8002 being my jupyterlab)
Instead of calling http://localhost:8002/jupyter/user/admin/iframes/proxy?path=http://127.0.0.1:8000/user
from jupyterlab_iframe.
@timkpaine to clarrify the bug, it is not a cors issue as you suggested
Running my api inside my jupyterlab.
If I open an IFrame with http://127.0.0.1:8000/docs
in network I see /docs being redirected to /iframes/proxy?path=http://127.0.0.1:8000/docs
but /openapi.json
is not redirected.
If I open an IFrame directly with http://127.0.0.1:8000/openapi.json
, I see it being redirected to /iframes/proxy?path=http://127.0.0.1:8000/openapi.json
successfully.
Do you have an idea to why it is not caught in the first scenario ?
Thanks
