Here are some additional notes by @fleurlemire - please incorporate them in the onboarding guide as suggested in your email.

Proposal Updating Onboarding Guide

Page: Meet your colleagues: https://github.com/tilburgsciencehub/onboarding/wiki/Meet-your-colleagues

Proposal:
• New RA’s are missing; I would add them in here

Page: Setting up your computer: https://github.com/tilburgsciencehub/onboarding/wiki/Setting-up-your-computer

Proposal:
Quarto
• There is nothing about Quarto on this page. Sometimes we want to use this for projects (I think), so I think it can be also good maybe to add this. The following guide is in one tutorial (https://tilburgsciencehub.com/building-blocks/collaborate-and-share-your-work/publish-on-the-web/using-r/). Maybe it is also good to mention the guide within the onboarding guide, so that it is more easy to find if new people are installing all the programs and want to get to know them: https://quarto.org/docs/guide/.

Hugo
• At this moment, in the onboarding guide, there is only information reading how to install and contribute yourself on the TSH website with Hugo. But it says nothing about how Hugo works. Maybe we can add something like this tutorial to understand more about how it works: https://tilburgsciencehub.com/tutorials/code-like-a-pro/hugo-website/
• I also found this helpful while I tried to understand Hugo and how it worked: https://kinsta.com/blog/hugo-staticsite/#:~:text=Hugo%20is%20an%20open%2Dsource,all%20of%20this%20extremely%20quickly. It explains every little piece about a Hugo website in details. It might be useful for people that did not hear from Hugo before.

Proposal Updating Social Media Handbook

Photoshop
“Requisites:
• Make sure you have all the fonts installed. You can download them from the Google Drive Fonts folder.

  1. Open social-media-templates.psd (only square posts) or social-post.psd (square and rectangular ones) with Photoshop. You will be presented with 4 "Artboards". Each Artboard contains all the elements (so-called "layers") that make up a complete image (i.e, the social post).”
    Proposal:
    • Adding social-media-template-rectangular.psd instead of the template that is there right now. The one where we reference to right now is the square one that we do not use anymore right now.
    • Social-post.psd (square and rectangular ones) does not exist on the drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1t6uqgczy2IWnMzNpdg57fTZebHf9j_K8, I would remove this sentence from the text. Otherwise it might be confusing for people reading it on where to find it.

@hannesdatta
For this last one: Proposal Updating Social Media Handbook
https://github.com/tilburgsciencehub/maintainer-handbook/wiki/Social-Media, i do not have the rights i think to change anything. Do you know who has the rights or is there a way to get access?

and next to my additional changes, what is meant with this issues and needs to be also done: Fix onboarding guide and codify way of working: researchers?
