I don't understand, the picture at the link is already a GIF.
Do you want to convert it to webp ?

Well, from the beginning...
I found this page, see the pic & save it - attch #1
Even try 2 open in new tab: attch #2
Both lead me @ this file: attch #3
Did U see the extension webp ?
Thats why I google 4 a way to convert 2 gif, cause when I attempt 2 open
it, got this: attch #4
Back in time I was able to save this kind using Developer tools, but I
don't know why I can not now ....

I don't see the webp extension.
In the text file that you send me, I see this link

this is a gif, not a webp file ^^
PS: when you write # + a number it creates a link to the issue with the same number, I dont think you want to do that.

Dear Sir.
Sorry my old fashioned talk. And yes I don't want to create more issues..
Here is the fact:
In the refer web page, there's pictures, animated ones, that when I try to
download turn into webp file, no gif file are created.
That's why I googled for a software that gave me this kind of solution:
turn webp file into gif.
Please take a look at the files that I sent.
Those pictures , show what I'm trying to explain.
And don't get me wrong, I'm just a old guy (60's) that want to learn more
from this kind of Internet.
I think that sooner or latter, one of Your costumers will face this issue
too.
Hope that now You will able to understand what I want to show You.

Downloading any gif images from internet end up in a .webp animated picture right now on most of the navigators.
I have the same issue as our friend from Brazil and im looking everywhere to find a solution to convert my .webp animated pictures back to .gif once i downloaded em. Unfortunately, FileConverter .msi is unable to help me with that and systematicly fail for any .webp i'll try to convert into gif or lossy gif. It does work perfectly tho when i convert a webp picture to jpeg, If anyone got a solution here i would love that. Maybe is that because i run on Windows 7 ? Thx and hugs!

I succeeded to reproduce the Issue with this file

Note: For now it is not possible to convert webp to gif. I'll add it to the new feature list.
