I was able to reproduce it with the non Steam version of the game but only with the replay you used in your demonstration (Link to it for the others)

Yep, sorry for a missing replay link.

I thought that all replays are not working with steam version, let me check the others..

Looks like binhack fix_practice_replay_crash#1 and fix_practice_replay_crash#2 can be the issue.
