This question would be most appropriate for the hound repo. Hound does use the latest released RuboCop gem. We don't have any plans for supporting the master branch, and will strive to update the gem as new versions are released. The different namespaces shouldn't matter, as RuboCop supports older namespaces (or no namespaces).
