User error. It works. The site I tested with is inside the firewall and I forgot to connect to VPN.

You should definitely add this extension to the Brackets Extension wiki. A lot of people ask about FTP support in Brackets.

Thanks! Nice to know it works in Windows, I didn't expect it to work at all to be honest.

This initial version was just something really quick as a proof of concept, and so that I could start using Brackets myself with FTP access since I really fell in love with the editor! Soon I plan on relaunching the extension with alot more features, bug fixes and integration into some of the new UI elements coming down in future Brackets releases.

@theproducer and @lkcampbell - I just noticed that you both have a brackets extension named "brackets-ftp" - https://github.com/theproducer/brackets-ftp and https://github.com/lkcampbell/brackets-ftp.

I am very excited to see work being done on FTP in Brackets, but unfortunately, this is going to cause a conflict in the Brackets Extension Manager that we started a couple Sprints ago and will be updated again in a couple days when Sprint 25 is released. So, one of you should rename the extension.

FYI, @theproducer Looking at the commit logs, it looks like @lkcampbell's extension is older than yours (by only 1 day!)

@redmunds I tossed mine. It wasn't much more than a shell that I was using for experiments. If I come back to it I will use a new name. Thanks for the heads up.
