This is achievable in the current code, but not in a friendly manner, mostly because it doesn't fetch the extra_tags for each refresh. I think this is a good idea though, and trivial to implement.

Previously you could've managed without editing the primary code by adding a plugin that would add a call to the tag object, which would then be accessible in the format string because it's given the tag object. Like I said, not friendly at all and more complicated than just doing what you did.

I've just made a commit that adds an "extra_tags" variable to the tag format variables. That means that, without making a change to the code, you can change the tag header format to include %{','.join(extra_tags)} for your comma delimited list.

The easiest way to do that is to

:edit tag.format

Which will open the (very long) tag header string in your $EDITOR, where you can add that bit before the title (%t).
