Thats a very good point, saving results objects directly was not possible yet. I just added a save function to the results class that saves results via pickle: sim_results.save("path_to_file")
. Instructions on how to use it are also added in the tutorial.

Hi,
thank you again for the save utils. I have encountered a problem with saving large objects (i.e. with chain length 400.000):
OverflowError: cannot serialize a bytes object larger than 4 GiB
I would be grateful for a suggestion how to handle this error.

Per default, pickle can only save files up to 4 GB. However, one can switch the protocol version enable saving of larger files. I just changed this in the latest commit on the dev branch.
Unfortunately, I cannot test this rn (only have 4 GB of RAM available), but if you want, you can try it out.
