i found this error with missing fonts:
5 Jun 19:10:40 - [info] [Face-api.js : cde93ab3.8f0968 : Child Node] - Loaded models
5 Jun 19:10:58 - [error] Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
but than i found your hint to install depencendies here:

i will give it a try:
sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install build-essential libcairo2-dev libpango1.0-dev libjpeg-dev libgif-dev librsvg2-dev
