We could also show a shorter version of the date format, for instance "Mar
1 to Mar 2, 2014". We shouldn't often (if ever) run into a situation where
an event spans between two years, and we can build in a safeguard to show
both years if they are different.

See Hatboro-Horsham - location and dates overlay on top of each other. We
need to put a max-width for the location.

We should also really be using the 'short_name' from the event model (see
http://www.thebluealliance.com/apidocs#event-model). Showing "district",
"regional", etc. when we have the headers is kind of redundant.

Well that should not be happening... I'll see if I can figure that out.

Vertical alignment maybe?

Found the problem, this line shouldn't exist: https://github.com/the-blue-alliance/the-blue-alliance-android/blob/master/android/src/main/res/layout/list_item_team.xml#L14

@nwalters512 Yes to both a shorter date and shorter names. It would improve clarity on both fronts
from the-blue-alliance-android.
My thoughts exactly. Another thing: we need a layout_toLeftOf="date"
on the location view (pardon my pseudocode); this should solve the overlap problem for events with longer locations. We should also add ellipsize="end"
on the location.
