An alternative for these list boxes is a grid widget with labels in it.
I'm already thinking about implementing a multi-column list box. A table is yet one step further as it might needs a title on top of each column.
Similar requests have been made, but it is very hard to find something that fits all needs. Some people really want a multi-column listbox where the whole line can be highlighted, others may want different elements than simple texts, some need lines between the items, ...
All these things are extremely similar with only small changes. Since it gets requested from time to time it has to be given priority, but actually coming up with something that supports it all is very hard. I am going to improve the Grid widget before I add such a widget though. Right now Grid is still an old widgets which can seriously be improved. After the change it should be easier to write such a widget. But note that I don't have much time before July next year due to college.

A Table class has finally been added to tgui. It isn't finished yet, but the most essential parts are there so this issue can be closed. An example on how to use it has been added to the examples directory.
