@jiahuang I'm not sure what the benefit is here. If you push up a 0 byte file, what should be happening instead?

Does involve pushing a file 0 bytes long though? Node nor any other runtime environment would do otherwise here.

We shouldn't create a special exception to alert users of code that is a no-op (since files with content in them can also be no-ops, creating the same confusion).

If the "~4kb" file size is misleading, we might consider changing this to "0kb files compressed", indicating script has come to a completion, or other UX alternatives.
