Do you support backend bucket? about terraform-google-lb-http HOT 3 CLOSED

@marekaf If I'm understanding this correctly and have my local proof of concept correctly then it appears that you have to BOTH a default service and backend bucket when using this module.

The gist of what I'm saying is that even in the case of only wanting to provision a GCE LB instance with a single bucket configured as the backend, then you still need to configure a default service, even if that service does nothing and is never used in path matching.

Is this accurate? Or can you simply configure ONLY a single backend bucket using the module and forgo a backend service all together?

you can specify your backend bucket path_rule in google_compute_url_map path_matcher

resource "google_compute_url_map" "default" {
 ...
  path_matcher {
    name            = "allpaths"
    default_service = "${google_compute_backend_service.default.self_link}"

    path_rule {
      paths   = ["/images/*"]
      service = "${google_compute_backend_bucket.default.self_link}"
    }
  }
}

This issue is stale because it has been open 60 days with no activity. Remove stale label or comment or this will be closed in 7 days
