Alternately, delay spawn with a keystroke and be in "purgatory".

Eh. Trying to keep key controls down. Back in the old days, it was up to the discretion of others not to shoot someone, and some devs were nice enough to include something near the players name to indicate they were typing. Adding invulnerability can change the game dynamic in possibly negative ways, best to leave it to an indicator. Thoughts? 💫

Invulnerability should not allow any movement/actions.

Typing indicator is good, but if you respawn in the middle of a firefight, won't help.

Respawn is in a random grid from 0,0, and can usually be quite a far bit away from anyone, but sometimes not. If someone is invulnerable but unable to move, then this will just give someone more time to target them, waiting till they become ready for the snipe. 🔫
