If I understand correctly, the default Electron app is opened, not your app. This is either because:

  1. You're using an old version of auto-launch which has a bug. So try the latest version (5.0.3).
  2. You're opening your app during development and auto-launch is being called. You can't use this module in development. When I'm testing, I run npm run pack (see electron-builder), then open the generated app. P.S. this module is handy for checking if your app is currently running in development: https://github.com/sindresorhus/electron-is-dev.
