Undeprecate original API about odftoolkit HOT 6 CLOSED

that sounds like an excellent idea; could you send a pull request to do that? otherwise we'll have to wait until Svante is back as i'm not so familiar with ODFDOM.

Hi Tom, thanks for your update. You are right it is/was confusing, I am currently on a FAQ collecting the bits I like to tell and the history (fork/rejoin of IBM's Simple API) is surely one of the things, that should be mentioned...

so as far as i can tell commit 2a6d4fc "Merging the ODF collaboration work from https://github.com/svanteschubert/odftoolkit/tree/odf-changes" removed these "@deprecated As of release 0.8.8, replaced by {@link org.odftoolkit.simple.ChartDocument} in Simple API" on the master branch, and commit 9a13d95 "Removed deprecation of DOC layer as IBM left ODF business and did not merge their Simple API fork by removing earlier copy/paste, so Simple API itself was removed" did it on the 0.9 branch.
