At first this problem is super simple to solve.

It occurs because you are entering your device's MAC address incorrectly in the plugin settings.

The correct way to enter the MAC address is as follows: 1A:2B:3C:4D:5E:6F

You are probably entering it like this: 1A-2B-3C-4D-5E-6F

Replace the character that separates the digits with :

You can tell this is wrong because when you open the Homebridge Samsung Tizen plugin popup window the MAC Address input willl be red.

Okay, do the following:

  • Try to reset your Samsung Tizen network settings
  • Also reset Homebridge Samsung Tizen plugin
  • After that, you can configure the Samsung Tizen Plugin normally, then restart your Homebridge
  • ⚠️ When your put the Samsung Tizen IP and MAC pay attention at TV

The TV will show a popup requesting permission for by controlled via other device, just click Allow.
After that I wish you will be able to fully control your Samsung Tizen.

  • Be sure the IP is following these: 192.168.X.XX and the MAC: 0X:0X:0X:0X:0X:0X

Here I had the same problem what happened with you, and these steps help to do it works normally.
My Samsung Tizen is connect to network wired, if you are using wireless, try use the cable if that's dont work.

@CaaioSB thank you for the help :)

Regarding the problem, WoL should work on wifi too. What year is your TV?

Try a hard restart of the TV by holding the power button on your physical remote until you see the Samsung logo.

I also have one of my TVs that didn’t turn on when was connected to wifi so I have it connected by wire, but don’t know to tell you why is this happening …
Some time ago I have reset it because I wanted to change the region and after that the WoL over wifi started working. But I cannot guarantee that this will work for you too.

Try the hard restart first.

@tavicu When doing some tests on the WIFI I managed to arrive at the same scenario as him, the TV just turns off and does not turn on.

The permission popup on the TV did not appear, what I did was simply reset all the devices I connected to the homebridge, how do you do that?

Follow:

  • On the Homebridge in the upper right corner there are 3 vertical dots, click on them.
  • Go to the "Homebridge Settings" option
  • Search for "Unpair Bridges / Cameras / TVs / External Accessories" and click the button on the right
  • Remove all televisions and all bridges related to your television.
  • Look for "Remove Single Cached Accessory" and click the button on the right
  • If it exists, delete all accessories related to your TV.
  • Hard restart your TV press and holding the power button until you see the samsung or tizen logo
  • All done.

Now...

  • Go to plugins panel and look for Homebridge Samsung Tizen plugin
  • Click on the tool icon located on the right side of the card
  • Click Birdge Settings
  • Make sure SamsungTizen swith is enabled, if not, enable and save.
  • After that go to the Settings button located to the left of the button.
  • Enter the IP Address and the MAC Address in the pattern previously informed.
  • Save the information
  • Now make sure your TV is turned on, if not, turn on it
  • Press to restart Homebridge
  • A notification should appear on your TV after the homebridge restarts, click in "Allow".
  • Go to the Home app on your iOS device and press to add a new accessory
  • Don't read any QR Code, just click on the text "More options..."
  • Your television will appear and you just add it normally.
  • From that I hope you managed to make it turn on and off :D

I wrote the walkthrough very detailed because that's really all I did when I got to the same scenario as yours, and that made my device work via wifi.
