Hi Martin,
Thanks for your feedback. You are correct - we emphasise you should go to section 2 to reinforce your knowledge on the admin interface, but section 2 only provides details on getting up to speed with Django and the ORM in general.
What I've done is update the repo with a comment explaining what section 2 provides, and added a further exercise for readers to jump to part 7. I think that addresses the issue; I'll leave this open if you have any feedback. Changes will be applied when we release the next iteration of the book.
