We don't have a script named fade_in_one/two.sh in this repository. We only have fade_in_two.sh and it is already tested using different values for those two parameters.

Sorry I meant either fade_in_one or fade_in_two does not work when the TRANSITION_DURATION and IMAGE_DURATION are different.

Okay, let's start again. All scripts in this repo are tested. I don't publish anything without testing it, without testing different variations of the parameters. fade_in_one and fade_in_two are tested as well. I tested them again yesterday and didn't have any issues.
If a script or a variation of a script does not work for you, the other factors like:
environmentffmpeg versioninput files used
come into play. Your issues can be caused from any of these. You can test the failing script with different ffmpeg versions or different input files and understand what is triggering the crash.
