Win 7 x64, no addons.
Around 40 png files. From what I've noticed, the problem starts around 15-20 graphic files. Might be something with the preview/icons, as non-graphic files work fine.

Does any view mode crash?
Please try the following.
1.Show frames before opening the folder of the problem.(Right click menu on the tab)
2.Open the folder of the problem.

It doesn't crash if I use anything which does not make a preview of the png, so list/small icons/details and the like don't crash. Medium/large icons however will probably crash.
I think switching show frames on prevents the crash, too, but I'm not sure (sometimes I have to keep it open for a longer time and copy/paste or open some files for it to crash)
