Oh, I see!!! I have to call the Toggle
command to make it explicit, while selecting a word only does it temporarily in the current file. Got it.
Maybe the preview should also highlight across panes, that'd be very helpful for temporary visual information. I've updated the title.

Basically, the temporary feature would be much like the highligh-selected
plugin, where you can double click a word and see it highlighted across panes immediately. This is helpful for temporary visual inspection.
EDIT: Well, I guess, I can just use this and highlight-selected
at the same time! That works! :)
