This is not a trivial bug, I spend generally a lot of time naming things :) . While I agree that "Store Current" is horrible I also thought that "New" was not that clear. Maybe something "Save new profile" "Save profile"... That's really hard :) ... Anyway I'll leave this open until we find the right name!

Save profile
This has the same problem as the current wording. From a UI point-of-view, it looks like the button might overwrite the currently selected profile.
If you don't like "New", I'd suggest that "Save new profile" is the best option. I don't think "New" is that bad, though. It's a button in a panel titled "Profiles", so it's clear that it's a new profile that the button creates.
