I'm really sorry for the late response. Anyway you are definitely right. There are some problems with the selection that I need to investigate. The good part is that I wrote them so it should not take too long. Thank you for your patience.

Hi, I just pushed a new branch with improved mouse support ( https://github.com/Swordfish90/cool-old-term/tree/improvemouse ). All the problems with flaky selection/paste should be gone (as a side effect of mouse support). Could you please give it a try?

A quick test seems to show that everything is working the way I would expect it to with regard to the primary selection. It even integrates properly with the "*
register in Vim.
