Openings timeout not working about ha-dual-smart-thermostat HOT 7 CLOSED

@serlinGi I installed the Beta and in seems to have been fixed and working now. +1 for the indication of openings on the card itself.

I just ran into this same issue:

I have configured the openings with a 1 minute delay:

    openings:
    - entity_id: binary_sensor.openclose_11
      timeout: 00:01:00
    - entity_id: binary_sensor.openclose_13
      timeout: 00:01:00
    - entity_id: binary_sensor.openclose_14
      timeout: 00:01:00
    - entity_id: binary_sensor.openclose_15
      timeout: 00:01:00

However as soon as I open one of the doors/windows the AC is turned off. As per the documentation it says that the opening will need to remain open for however long the timeout parameter is configured before it turns off, but thats not how its working for me.

Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same and came across this issue. I believe this was working previously in my case and seem to have been introduced recently

Hi,
I tried it last night and it seemed to work;
at first I had the impression that a second event (on/off/on) of the contact was necessary but in subsequent tests everything seems OK.

it would be nice if in the future I could add the window status among the things visible in the cards;
and perhaps even if the recorded event indicated the cause of the thermostat change (at the moment a "generic" off/on is indicated).
