This also requires setting up a 5.3 checkout scheme and creating corresponding branches in other repositories such as SwiftPM, LLVM etc.

Most of this has been done now, but I'll keep this open until our 5.3 distributions are fully usable with working Foundation and XCTest bundled in them. Then I wonder if a better way to distribute it would be through Homebrew, e.g. brew install swiftwasm would pull swiftenv as a dependency and install the latest 5.3 snapshot?
