One way to work around this until we support Gitlab would be to have Gitlab mirror your repositories to Github and add those URLs instead. Once set up that shouldn’t require any maintenance on your part. Would that work for you?

@finestructure thanks for the suggestion but I will not do a mirror repository. I will wait for gitlab support to be implemented. Otherwise do you know of another place where I can register my packages without needing to create a mirror repo of my projects on github?

No problem at all @TofPlay, and thanks for writing your packages.

I don't know of any of the other indexes that support GitLab unfortunately, and I believe that this index is the only one receiving significant work/maintenance.

• https://swiftpack.co runs primarily on a GitHub crawler, and only supports manual adding of GitHub packages.
• https://swiftpackageregistry.com requires packages are on GitHub and a GitHub app to be installed in order to index updated versions of packages.

I'm going to close this issue for now as the task is being tracked at SwiftPackageIndex/SwiftPackageIndex-Server#485. I'm afraid I can't promise any kind of schedule for this being implemented, although yours is not the first request for GitLab support, so we know there is a need for it.
