This seems to be fine if you bind a startDate from the beginning and it has a vale, if you use the Datepicker wrapping an input statement and startDate is undefined, the break still happens.

Tested locally and on the REPL on 1.0.6. It seems you are expecting a date before searching for the time, however if I want no initial date and time is changed first we get the break.

Maybe easiest thing to do is check if this value coming in undefined and if so just disable the timepicker until they choose a date?

Sorry to bother you on this but I have been testing for awhile and I can't get the active button for the date selection to be any other color than blue. Can you advise which variable I should be overriding?
